Reeling from the disaster that was the High priests I holed up in an attic in Barons Court, Hammersmith, london with a three-track ( one channel broken) fostex and a headful of great expectations. The result was tracks like this demented English Psycho blues which owed a hell of a lot on second listening to Tom Waits and Tom Russell. Topic: blues
Blues from Roodepoort, South Africa Permission to speak was formed when lead guitarist (Jonathan Annandale) and drummer (Greg Watson) from African jazz band Louis and the mountain yaks decided to embark on a different project with a completely new approach to it. âWe want to create music in its most basic form, from the heart and straight to the listener, without fearing opinion, without over complication, without overproduction, bringing the message and intensity and beauty that is music... Blues Rock Jazz Band. Most of the songs were recorded on Garage Band using some drum loops and one southern rock piano riff. I owe Stroll to Jesse Waldo for the main rhythm theme. The music is generally long and keeps the same rhythm and beat. The main theme is bluesy rock guitar with plenty of soloing and improvisation. I suggest if you like blues rock guitar, check out SiamBlues2, it's my favorite. favoritefavoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 1 reviews ) Topic: Blues Source: Garage Band export to aiff then mp3

Melancholy moods from the heavy lidded sadness of Percy Mayfield, onetime collaborator of Ray Charles (composing the all time classic 'Hit The Road Jack'). A venerable solo act in his own right, Mayfield was en route to success when he was involved in an horrific car accident which left him with severe facial injuries, the trauma of which crippled him with severe alcoholism.A poet of the Blues, his lugubrious delivery has you reaching for the jug while your swinging in a hammock. 1 - You... favoritefavoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 1 reviews ) Topic: Blues.
